Eglwysbach Show

Eglwysbach Show is the finest one day (non County) Show in North Wales, attracting exhibitors from north and mid Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire and Lancashire with some of the finest stock you could wish to see.  Poultry are featured in their own marqee. There is usually a good turn out of Shire Horses, and the light horse section features Welsh Cobs, Mountain & Moorland, Shetland minature and Palominos. There are Working Hunter and ridden classes and side saddle too. The Horticulture Marquees are filled with flowers, fruit and vegetables, cakes, jams, pastries, honey, wine, classes for children and a large photographic display.  There are many trade stands on the field selling a myriad of goods, a fairground for the children, food and a Bar. The afternoon concudes with the Grand Parade and a speed shearing competition.

The Show extends beyond the Show fields to the village School where an exhibition of around 300 works of art is staged for a period of a week either side of Show Day.
